Bear in mind that the cameras and crew had to reset for every one of those angles, but the action flows between them smoothly. Bond responds, closes the menu, and sets it aside. CR was far more grounded - had a better plot, better relationships. Skyfall has the incredible photography, the pre-title sequence, and an awesome villian. Vesper approaches the table, and the menu Bond is holding is visible. Casino Royale is probably a better overall movie, but I think the high points of Skyfall are higher, if that makes sense. ![]() In the Casino Royale scene, just between 0:10 and 0:24, you have four angles which almost all share elements with each other. The cuts away from that shot have nothing in common with it aside from the direction Bond has spun his chair, and he's visibly deliberate about getting to the same spots when he moves. However, both actors rather pointedly hit and hold positions that were intended to be marks for shots of the same lines at different angles. In Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Reed Richards tries to nicely talk Wanda out of destroying the universe. however, historians debate its historical accurancy due to the lack of rapper dogs in the movie. In the Goldfinger scene, note how the shot that starts around 0:36 is built such that it could have been, and probably was filmed as, a oner. Titanic (1997) is remembered as a classic till his day.
